Established in 2015, the NSAL Collégial Grade 12 Program provides an invaluable opportunity for students who have completed Grade 11 to acquire a Canadian High School Diploma.

This one year pre-university program ensures that our students acquire the esteemed accreditation and skills necessary to successfully apply to many of the best universities in Quebec, Canada and around the world, in the program of their choice.

Following eight years of excellence and success at its main campus, NSAL Collégial is proud to announce its expansion to a new Laval location, guiding even more students toward a seamless transition to higher education in a setting that is both inspiring and state-of-the-art.

Demystifying the Grade 12 Program
NSAL Collégial employs a blended learning strategy, combining in-class instruction with asynchronous online learning, providing students with a comprehensive educational experience. The curriculum is distinguished by its high-level of academics and rigorous coursework that thoroughly prepares students for the challenges awaiting them in higher education. Students attend school in-person, actively participating in three academic periods throughout the day with time for lunch and breaks. These periods are thoughtfully designed, offering a mix of interactive class time and dedicated time slots for independent study periods. Daily classes, facilitated by our dedicated and certified NSAL teachers, are enriched through virtual collaborations with other highly qualified Canadian educators. This unique approach ensures students receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for the reality and opportunities of university life.

Enrolling in NSAL Collégial’s Grade 12 Program exceeds expectations on multiple levels. From business to science, engineering to social sciences, NSAL Collégial tailors its programs to meet each student’s unique interests and career goals. Students have access to a Science & Design Lab, various professional workshops and opportunities for community service and mentorship. Beyond academics, the program fosters a modern and multicultural learning environment, embracing diversity and cultivating a global perspective among students.

Support and Guidance
Entering Grade 12 is a pivotal moment in a student’s life — a delicate balance between yearning for independence and relying on a strong support system. At NSAL Collégial, experienced faculty strike this balance with precision, guiding students to set attainable goals and practices for a smooth transition to university life. The Grade 12 Coordinator plays a pivotal role, offering one-on-one support as well as academic advising. In addition, and unique to NSAL, the student, in conjunction with the coordinator, is able to plan and track their work schedules and progress through a specially designed pacing guide which is tailored to each student’s learning style.

All students benefit from individual mentorship throughout the semester, ensuring academic growth. With the guidance of the Grade 12 coordinator, students navigate the intricate university application process seamlessly. Upon successful completion of the program, students earn the prestigious Ontario Secondary Schools Diploma (OSSD), recognized and esteemed by universities worldwide, including those in Quebec.
