From June to September, Laval's parks come alive and offer you a wide range of free activities, including a number of neighbourhood festivities. This summer, we're celebrating outdoors!

Outdoors and full of culture
As soon as it gets dark, movie lovers are invited to come with their blanket or folding chair to watch some twenty movies outdoors during July and August.

Wednesday and Saturday evenings as well as for Sunday brunch, the play R'garde-moi ben aller! will be presented outdoors in 15 different parks in July and August. From July 14th to August 12th, visit the Centre de la nature in Saint-Vincent-de-Paul to discover the brand new open-air play Le Camping à Jojo ; western macaroni. In addition to this show, you will have lots of enjoyable activities and services to choose from for you and your family; farm and greenhouse visits, horticultural activities, boat rentals, and more.

Did you know that the Centre de la nature is one of Laval's four major parks? This summer, discover them all; Berge aux Quatre-Vents in Laval-Ouest, Berge des Baigneurs in Sainte-Rose and Des Prairies park in Laval-des-Rapides. So many activities and facilities in store for you there . Make the most of them!

You want to have a good laugh? Outdoor interactive circus shows and play-acting activities are bound to quench your thirst for fun! Kazou's C'est à moi is for 5-year-olds and under, while Les Dudes' Stories in the City will appeal to a wider audience. Comedy, circus and acrobatics aplenty!

In addition, numerous reading events will be organized by Laval's libraries at certain parks and pools. Also not to be missed are the musical performances at the Centre de la nature, Des Prairies park, in Vieux-Sainte-Dorothée and Vieux-Sainte-Rose. And don't hesitate to play your favourite tunes on Laval's public pianos.

Outside we get moving and play
Lastly, inquire about the various chances to be introduced to sports and recreational activities organized during the summer as well as public practice opportunities (tennis courts, soccer and baseball fields, fitness facilities, walking trails, sports grounds at the Bleu Blanc Bouge skating rink, and more).

Game chests
About fifteen parks on Laval territory make game chests accessible to residents, free of charge. So children and grown-ups have all kinds of amusement at their fingertips, with balls, toys for playing in the sand, frisbees, outdoor accessories and more. Take them, play with them and give them back!
