Saint Vincent Elementary School Community would like to express their best wishes for a wonderful future to their 2013 Grade 6 graduating class. This cohort is the first class to have gone through their primary school years from Kindergarten to Grade 6 at Saint Vincent’s.

Saint Vincent Elementary School was born in 2006 when Genesis Elementary School was overflowing with students. With a demographic projection of fast growth in the community, Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board made a decision to acquire a new school to support the community. One hundred and sixty six students were welcomed into the new school in September of 2006. Since then, the school has grown to 372 students and continues to grow. A new building was acquired in 2010 to handle the students who no longer fit in the little school on St. Jacques Street. Hence, a new center was added on Blvd de la Concorde. The St. Jacques Center houses the Kindergarten to grade 2 students and Concorde Center houses the students from Grade 3 to Grade 6.

This June, 2013, the first class to have attended Saint Vincent’s from Kindergarten through grade 6 celebrated their graduation in Disney style, complete with Mickey and Minney décor.

We are proud of our school and our students. We invite you all to review our pamphlet which gives an overview of our curriculum focus and our activities.

On behalf of our staff and learning community, Congratulations to the Saint Vincent Elementary School Class of 2013. We wish the students a successful future and a wonderful life adventure.
