Looking for something special to do during the school break? Most parents dread the time when school break approaches. Luckily, in Laval parents can choose from a great variety of activities to ensure their young ones enjoy a thrilling experience during their week off.

Learning While Having Fun

Laval scientastique is a one-of-a-kind day camp. Each day the camp offers participants an opportunity to discover a plethora of knowledge through privileged access to four very interesting museums. The experience is designed to introduce children to the world of science and technology. What can be cooler than leading a virtual space mission at Cosmodôme? What can be more exciting than exploring the animal world in their natural habitat at Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles? What can be more stimulating than learning how to use a microscope to examine microorganisms at the Armand-Frappier Museum’s Biosciences Interpretation Centre, or discover all the secrets behind the production of drinking water at C.I.E.A.U (Water Interpretation Centre)? Children 9 to 13 years old will have the opportunity to visit each of these fascinating museums while kids aged 5 to 8 will spend more time having fun at Cosmodôme where they will enjoy the activities organized by each of the participating museums. One thing is for sure; your little ones will be quite amazed by their experience and, who knows, this week of memorable discoveries may lead to a future career in the sciences!

Sports and More Sports

Active children will find their match at Tennis 13 Sport Day Camp. The program is quite simple; get children moving, moving and moving some more! There’s no doubt they will enjoy every moment of it while playing any of the activities offered; tennis, badminton, racquetball, kin-ball, fun fitness, wallyball, soccer, aerobic exercises, etc. Children 4 to 15 years old will find a sport that best suits them. They will be able to burn up their energy and let loose in a fun and active atmosphere supervised by the centre’s dynamic team of instructors. This day camp is bilingual.

These fun-filled sports and educational and activities will keep children busy during the school break and their parents happy. Their little ones will be in good hands! Children will have a lot of fun during their school break, and for parents, it will be mission accomplished!
