No matter what your experience level with a digital camera or a cell phone, no matter whether you are a novice or an expert, the CDC Vimont offers photography courses to improve your skills and enjoyment of photography. Our courses are offered by a highly renowned local photographer, Despina Ionnidis, and are offered at our convenient Boulevard des Laurentides location.

Ionnidis has her students explore and acquire basic composition techniques for taking action or sports photos, portraits and landscapes, as well as the tricks for fantastic night photographs. After the very first lesson, our students tell us that they will never see a photograph in the same way again. The world has come alive through their lens. Students learn techniques to not only take better quality photos but to also make slide shows and special mementos for friends and family members.

The classes are filled with tips and tricks of the trade for taking that perfect photo or for making a photo look its absolute best. Students learn how to manage difficult lighting situations, how to photograph moving objects, how to shoot travel photos and how to make digital albums that will give endless pleasure to their audiences. Ionnidis makes the classes fun with sharing sessions, workshops, and outdoor excursions to allow her students to practice taking their photos in a variety of conditions.

Some of our students have gone on to be able to sell their photos as well as being hired professionally to memorialize special events. No special equipment is required and in fact most of our students use their cell phones or an inexpensive digital camera with wonderful results.
